The next Club Annual General Meeting is to be held at 1000 NZST on Sunday, 28 May 2023 at the Club Rooms, Hanger 10, Whangarei Airport, Handforth Street, Onerahi.

Introduction

Welcome to the Whangarei Flying Club Inc. (Incorporating the Northland Districts Aero Club.)

This is your portal into the fantastic world of aviation.  The Whangarei Flying Club Inc. is a not-for-profit recreational aviation organisation that is dedicated to offering our members a safe, stimulating and exciting environment in which to pursue their aviation passions.  We operate modern, safe aircraft that are meticulously maintained by our own maintenance engineers.

We have a team of instructors that are able to offer ab-intio and on-going flight training, biennial flight reviews and aircraft type ratings.

As we are a not-for-profit organisation, and our instructors and maintenance engineers, are all volunteers, our rates are amongst the most cost effective anywhere in New Zealand.

Come along to our club-house at Whangarei Airport. Enter via Gate 4 (down the road beyond the main terminal entrance, then along to Hangar 10). There is activity much of the time, but Sundays in particular are club days. There will be people around to welcome you then and maybe even to take you flying!
